So recently I started intermittent fasting and it has worked out very well for me. What I am noticing is that it is just simply becoming a lifestyle for me. No passing fad, no diet per se. Simply a way of life.
For the first time in a long time I feel like I am not overthinking my healthy eating choices and my exercising. I feel like I am doing what feels natural and right for me with something I can easily maintain daily. I do it without thinking about it. And so for me I feel as though I have a mind and body connection, finally!
For so long I have felt nervous and pretentious about my eating choices and my exercise habits. And that should not be! The way that I eat and the way that I exercise should be as easy as breathing. It should just be a daily part of what I do. My podcast this week with Rachel Still, helped me to further gain clarity around that and to confirm that I was indeed thinking the right things.
One of the things that I disliked most was the way I was stressing myself about my eating and gym routine because it started to feel like it was a job. I did not enjoy that! So I was always on one diet roller coaster or another trying to find that good fit that made me feel comfortable.
In our podcast this week, Rachel talks about the importance of having a good balanced lifestyle change with regards to your eating habits and movement habits so it simply becomes a part of who you are. One of the things she mentioned is that it’s not a one size fits all. And I have found that to be so true. Check out the podcast this week and let me know your thoughts.
I am no expert, but in true inspired women fashion, I am leaving you a short video with tips on some things that really worked for me when it comes to finding balance in your eating and movement lifestyle.
